? Forward Wally Judge will be allowed to transfer after he was released from his scholarship at Kansas State.

The Topeka Capital-Journal reported that Kansas State assistant sports information director Tom Gilbert confirmed Judge’s release Friday.

Judge is a 6-foot-9 former McDonald’s All-American from Washington, D.C. He left the team midway through his sophomore season but continued to attend classes at Kansas State this spring.

Judge was in and out of the Wildcats’ lineup this past season.

Frank Martin said he wasn’t surprised when he announced in January that Judge had quit the team. Martin said Judge was unhappy.
